La Vinci Hotel

What other guest can provide a good enough, reliable review than one who had to stay at La Vinci for 1 month!! In general the location of the hotel is very good with Bashundara Shopping Centre and amenitites only a stone's throw away. Local hospitals nearby although I did not need to travel for my Covid test, which was efficiently done by trained medical personnel. Cost of tests were also very good value at the time of writing April 2021 at a cost of 3000Tk. Local Kawran Bazar is round the corner and Dhanmondi a rickshaw ride away. I spent my time at La Vinci in the Busines Suite, which was spacious and very comfortable with all the normal room facilities at hand. During the lockdown periods, I was able to pace up and down the room as it was long enough and therefore to get my daily exercise! All staff were courteous and extremely helpful. The food was superb: fresh and tasty. Whatever I desired, the chef, Mr Nuru, was able to rustle up.... made to my precise tastes! The quality as well as timely delivery to room was excellent and the staff always maintained their professionalism in helping you out, whatever the problem. For example, I had WiFi isssues and was immediately furnished with a router in my room without question. I'm sure the paid WiFi would have been better. Prompt, responsive and professional. The hotel was generally spotless. I was unfortunate not to have tried the gym nor the business centre. The roof restaurant has wonderful views.
